AMB Stuttgart closed on 19 September at about 65,000 visitors, the same as 2024 and 2022, but with more deciders and one theme on every tooling stand: security of supply. IMTS closed at 90,000+. What a Pakistani buyer sends this week, and the price letter to expect by March.

JMTBA's July notes put the order backlog at ¥1,009bn against ¥150bn of monthly shipments: 6.7 months. The 28-32 weeks on page two of a Japanese quote is the national average. Working capital, escalation and options, and my call for the August final due around 1 October.
